Andrea Drake Mammen

I've been teaching Middle School PE for 26 years in San Jose, CA. I've coached most middle school sports, and done a little HS coaching, as well. I'm very much into my kids athletic activities. I'm active in USTA tennis, playing in local leagues I've been married to a great guy, Larry, for 20 years. He's an awesome guy for me. He is a former PE teacher, as well. He had to give it up, because he has a business (Pepperidge Farm) that pays more than teaching. He ended up not having the time to do both. I am enjoying life with 3 teenagers!!

I loved the long road trips on the bus to athletic events. I especially enjoyed those trips to Susanville. Lot of singing,bonding, and memories! It was great how the whole town came out to support at football and basketball games. That doesn't happen in San Jose where I work. Great team support! The friendships were awesome. We had some great times together. I tell my kids to enjoy high school. Life changes so much after that. Carefee times!
